Our life has become a path of success, failure, jealousy, anger, frustration and many such things and silence and inner peace is something which is left for the books only. From dawn to dusk our mind is full of ideas how to earn more at any expense. Life is for living and living starts with more expenses and expensive life style. However in gaining all this we have forgotten to be calm, to be meditative.
Swami Vivekananda says: “We are what our thoughts have made us; so take care of what you think. Words are secondary. Thoughts live; they travel far.”
Our desire gives an idea for mind to think and our mind becomes a store house of cobweb of multiple ideas and emotions. It is very important to keep a close eye on our mind and learn to relinquish everything aside and learn to live.
Osho says: “Mediation is surrender. It is not a demand. It is not forcing existence your way. It is relaxing into the way existence wants you to be.  It is a let-go.

One must have noticed while speaking that when he or she is in anger words just slip out and everything moves into wrong direction. Anger overcomes your reasoning faculty of mind. Anger is a disturbing drop into your mind. When the mind is silent your words are within your control. As you know when the river is calm then its reflection is clearer. When the mind is calm, then the reflection of your personality is clearer. Meditation is the tonic for the mind that clears the cobweb of the mind, that drops the inhibitions and the barriers of the effective communication.
